1. About these terms

These terms and conditions apply to your use of the GreenFox Energy website and to any services we provide. By using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms.

GreenFox Energy Solutions Limited is registered in Scotland (company number SC758486).

2. Our services

We provide solar panel installation, battery storage, EV charger installation, and ongoing maintenance services across Scotland. All installations are carried out by our MCS-certified in-house team.

3. Quotes and pricing

Quotes provided through our website or following a home survey are indicative and subject to a full technical assessment. A detailed, fixed-price quotation will be provided following a home survey, and this price will be honoured for 30 days from the date of issue.

All prices include VAT where applicable. Solar panel installations on residential properties currently qualify for 0% VAT.

4. Surveys and assessments

Home surveys and initial consultations are provided free of charge with no obligation. Information gathered during a survey is used solely to design and quote for your solar system.

5. Installation

Once you accept a quotation and the deposit has been received, we will schedule your installation. Typical installation timescales are 2-4 working days. We will agree a start date with you in advance.

All installations comply with current building regulations, MCS standards, and relevant electrical safety standards. We provide certification including MCS registration, DNO notification, and QualityMark protection.

6. Warranties and guarantees

  • Workmanship warranty: Minimum 2 years from date of installation
  • QualityMark Protection: Provided with every installation (fully refundable)
  • Panel manufacturer warranty: Typically 25 years (varies by manufacturer)
  • Inverter manufacturer warranty: Typically 5-12 years (varies by manufacturer)

7. Cancellation

As a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of signing a contract, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. To cancel, please contact us in writing at hello@greenfoxenergy.co.uk.

8. Limitation of liability

We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from the use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant service.

Nothing in these terms shall limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design, is owned by GreenFox Energy Solutions Limited and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any content without our prior written consent.

10. Website use

We aim to keep this website accurate and up to date but do not guarantee that all information is complete or error-free. Energy savings figures are estimates based on typical usage patterns and may vary depending on individual circumstances.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
